Mission for Online Classes
We strive to make sure that every class includes both innovative techniques and the opportunity for personal growth and self expression.
Because of our “live” format, each class becomes an online community where students can share their work, their thoughts, and can encourage each other.
In addition, every class member has the opportunity to have their work commented on by the instructor, who is also available by email for the duration of the class.
Urban Sketchbooking

In this class, Lewis brings his easy, relaxed style to urban landscapes. Working exclusively in sketchbooks, he walks us through his basic steps from line to color and breaking all the rules…. a very enjoyable class!
Mixed-Media Paint

Lewis has begun making larger, more colorful paintings and in this class you’ll work with vivid, colorful mediums that lend themselves to working fast and loose. You will allow yourself to make mistakes to see where they lead and focus on creating interesting texture, variety and composition.

Lewis shares his process for making simple and amazing portraits. He presents a laid-back approach to creating images that capture likenesses, and Lewis does it in a fun way using well-known faces as his references. This lessons are highly recommended for all mixed media artists!

If you already use Procreate, or would like to, this is an opportunity to learn from an artist who uses this software as an everyday tool. Lewis shows us how he integrates it with his analog work seamlessly. No experience is needed, but a basic understanding of layers is helpful.
